Singer Daler Mehndi purchases land in Metaverse; names it ‘Balle Balle Land’

Daler Mehndi has bought a piece of land in the metaverse and he’s named ‘Balle Balle Land’. According to reports, this is India’s first land acquisition in the metaverse. Mehndi revealed the land on Holi this year and it will house a store selling non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The land also owns a gold idol of Daler Mehndi and the piece of land will host concerns by him and other artists in the future. As per Mehndi, he went with an open mind on PartyNite Metaverse and that was a very rewarding experience. He really enjoyed performing and wanted a permanent presence and hence created ‘Balle Balle Land’. He continued that his aim in starting the land is to advertise Punjabi and Sufi music worldwide.

The popular singer said that ‘Balle Balle Land’ will help encourage new talent in the field of Sufi, Punjabi, Bollywood, and pop music. Expressing his views about audiences switching to the virtual world, Daler said he believed that the shift is here to stay, Social media users are all for a Mehndi revival.

Lately, many Indian celebs have been venturing into the virtual world of the metaverse. Mehndi has said the land will be integrated with the physical world as much as possible.
