Snoop Dogg to Release Game NFT, including Old Track

A popular known hip-hop artist and businessman, Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, makes it known during an interview with ‘Vanity Fair’ his interest in cryptocurrencies and why he believes so much in the space.

Snoop Dogg said, “The future is unfolding right before us. I don’t see it as a pandemic fad, the pandemic just put gas on the fire. Also, talking about the Non-Fungible tokens (NFTs), as he plans to launch eight pieces of an NFT game including an original piece of art that contains a Snoop Dogg track, never heard of before by fans. Fans will have access to limited pieces and original copies of his tracks. In his words, “no platform or middleman is filtering my message anymore.”

Grayscale Investments adds 5,566,271 XLM

One of the global and largest digital asset managers, Grayscale Investments added 5,566,271 XLM and other altcoins to its portfolios. Earlier this month, Grayscale Investments held a total of $46 billion worth of cryptocurrencies, which includes:

  • $28 million worth of XLM
  • $38.5 billion in bitcoin
  • $6.1 billion in Ethereum

The added XLM constitutes $2,532,167 in fiat. In addition to this, the removal of XRP allowed Chainlink’s LINK to be added, filling the void left in the fund.

Brazil Deploys Blockchain for Authentication

The adoption of cryptocurrencies continues to accelerate as Brazil authenticated about 156,000 documents through blockchain technology. The blockchain system deployed in Brazil runs on the Notrachain, the country’s blockchain network of notaries. This process allows citizens to sign and send desired documents through electronic platforms like WhatsApp or electronic mail (e-mail).  In the last four months, virtual verification has been done using this system.
