Martha Stewart introduces NFT Store, sees NFT as New Canvas

Martha Stewart has introduced a digital boutique for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). While many celebs have now unveiled the NFT collection, Stewart is leading a step ahead by presenting collections for sale. Named ‘FRESH Mint’, Stewart boutique will bring together a collection of NFTs in partnership with renowned artists, designers and photographers.

The non-fungible tokens under this collection will be based on Stewart’s creations and real artifacts which will be converted into digital artworks. Several items in this collection will cherish changing seasons, special occasions and festivals.

The first series of the non-fungible token collection is known as the Carved Collection that will display the pumpkin carving art of Marc Evan based in New York City and Chris Soria who included Stewart’s iconic Halloween costumes into handpicked pumpkins. On Twitter, the 80-year old American star and businesswoman posted a tweet including photos of this pumpkin artwork.

The NFT that was introduced on Tuesday, October 19 has been released in collaboration with NFT –platform Tokns and licensing firm Marquee Brands. Interested buyers will be able to encourage transactions in both fiat currencies as well as crypto.

Non-fungible tokens are virtual representations of artworks and real objects that be bought using cryptos. NFTs utilize the blockchain to record the ownership of digital collectibles which may see a surge in their values over time and give profits to the holders.

Currently, many world-popular celebs like Steve Harvey, Snoop Dogg, Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan have entered the NFT world.
