WWE Goes NFT, Releases Digital Art Collection of The Undertaker

Games, sports, and music are moving with trends coupled with technology, especially the crypto space.

World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., (WWE) is set to release its first-ever non-fungible tokens (NFTs), showcasing iconic moments of legendary Mark William Calaway, best known by his stage name: “The Undertaker”, along with never-before-sold memorabilia and experiences just in time for WrestleMania.

According to WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer, Nick Khan: “WWE’s first-ever NFT collection presents an opportunity to own a digital piece of history featuring The Undertaker, one of the most iconic Superstars in sports entertainment.”

The announcement was made on Thursday, with preparation for sales on Saturday through Sunday (April 10 at 10:30 a.m ET and April 11 at 11:30 p.m ET). WWE has partnered with Bitski for this program, the NFTs will be made available on crypto wallet provider Bitski’s website and participants will need to have a Bitski account to receive a reward (NFTs) in their wallet.

Four-tiers will be offered for The Undertaker NFTs: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Each tier has detailed requirements; the first two tiers have a minimum opening bid with better rewards available while the last two have a fixed price with limited offerings.

The Platinum tier has an opening bid of $10,000 and the winner will receive: A unique NFT featuring The Undertaker, a two-front row tickets for WrestleMania 38 in 2022 and WrestleMania 39 in 2023. A VIP access will be given, hotel accommodations, a personalized video message from The Undertaker, an original Paul Bearer urn out of the WWE vault, used by Paul Bearer and The Undertaker, to be signed by The Undertaker, as well as a personalized WWE Championship Title Belt with the winner’s name engraved on the side plates.

The Gold tier has an opening bid of $5,000 and the winner will receive: A unique NFT featuring The Undertaker, two front-row seat tickets at Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown of their choice in 2021 or 2022, a personalized video message, and a signed Undertaker Legacy Championship Title Belt. The last two tiers, Sliver and Bronze have a fixed price of $1,000 and $100 respectively with limited offerings.
